Summary
SurfLab-3D provides high-precision 3D scans of parts or objects of moderate size: maxi W x L x H (for a scan of the upper face) is 4 inch (100 mm) x (no limit in L) x 3 inch (75 mm).
SurfLab-3D's accuracy can be as good as ± 0.4/1000 inch for the larger parts, and still better for smaller objects - though, these figures do not apply to all models, contact us about that.
  • generates 3-d data by triangulation applied to a series of profiles,
  • includes a special light beam generator,
  • simple and fast to use (seconds), and designed to work in the manufacturing location - not in a lab.
SurfLab-3D includes a profilometer head (camera and illuminating device in a robust housing) mounted on a motion system.

  • Check rapidly and accurately a face of an object, close to where it is manufactured.
