• The Controls palette contains the controls that you will install into a new dialog window, or into an existing one. To install a new control from the Controls palette into a dialog window, use drag-and-drop or use Copy and Paste.
• By default the Controls palette opens in edit mode. If by accident you toggle it into normal use mode, use Edit ▸ Edit mode ⌘Y to set it back to edit mode.
• If you inadvertently move one of the controls in the Controls palette, close the window without saving the changes and re-open it. The Controls palette is a regular custom dialog.
• To re-open the Controls palette you can use File ▸ New dialog and close the new empty dialog, or - only if the front window is a dialog in edit mode - select Dialog ▸ Controls palette.
